The application procedure comprises several steps. For example, we may ask you to provide supplementary information and – suspending the deadline for consideration – schedule a meeting, or we may need to assess your enterprise's decision makers.

After receiving your application, we will first verify whether you completed the form in full and enclosed all required documents.

  • If your application is complete: the consideration period will start and a team of our staff will assess your application.
  • If your application is incomplete: we will ask you to supplement the necessary information within a set deadline. The consideration period will not yet start. See also: How long will it take to consider my application for authorisation?

Quality of your application
The time we need to consider your application greatly depends on its quality and completeness and on the supplementary information that you provide. If this is insufficient, we may need more than three months to come to a decision.
