The forms and the notes are based on what is currently known about the new regulations. The legislative process is not yet completed, which means the regulations as well as the requirements for registration are still subject to change. While it is possible to submit draft applications, we will not be able to process them formally until the Implementation act has entered into force.
We have published information about the one-off charges related to applications for registration and fit and proper assessments.
We have added new information about the one-off charges related to applications for registration and assessments of policymakers and co-policymakers to our Open Book on Supervision pages. Here, too, the legislative process is not yet completed and the charges are still subject to change. Please note that charges also apply to our regular supervision. We will inform you about these charges separately.
The Ministry of Finance is responsible for determining the requirements for registration and setting the one-off charges. While the requirements and charges are still subject to change, we believe it is important to provide information at an early stage and to support service providers who consider applying for registration as a crypto service provider. We have discussed our approach with the Ministry of Finance. The definitive information will be published in the Government Gazette. The exact list of information to be submitted will be laid down in a Ministerial Regulation. This will be issued when the Act enters into force. No rights can be derived from the information above.
